As so many other, I lost someone in Khao Lak. A very
beloved friend of mine died there that morning, December
26th 2004. At the time I had no idea what Khao Lak was and
even after many weeks of research, I had a very vague idea
of the place. I started searching for a good map, but never
found one.
I tried to figure out where my friend had stayed, if anyone
had met her. If she still was alive. After some time I had
to accept she had not survived. So I begun putting a
picture together of the place where she spent her last
week. From the people I had contacted, I got pictures and
stories.
Now I want to give something back to the people who have
helped me so much the last months. And to the people who
still are searching for information on the place where they
lost friends and family. As a first step I am putting
together all the data I have into this map. Next step is to
make something with the pictures and the stories I got from
